The four RCMP officers involved in the death of Robert Dziekanski at YVR on October 14, 2007 have never been charged with any crime. Rather, the RCMP have spent public funds to travel to Poland and interview Robert Dziekanski's friends in an apparent attempt to find some reason justifying the actions of the four RCMP officers.
The logic that the RCMP have used in avoiding a criminal investigation of this death is impossible to understand. And 12+ months after this event, why hasn't the Honourable Gordon Campbell, Premier of British Columbia taken action? Or is the Robert Dziekanski story the standard of law any visitor to Vancouver, the home of the 2010 Winter Olympics, should expect?
If you are outraged at the lack of action in Robert Dziekanski's death, then please consider signing a petition targeting the Provential Government of British Columbia.

Frankly, given Canada's handling of this incident, I am surprised that Poland isn't organizing an EU wide boycott of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics -- an event where most EU vistors will be arriving at YVR and walking through the same area where Robert Dziekanski died at the hands of four RCMP officers. Watch the video, consider the inaction by the RCMP, Provencial and Federal governments and decide if you feel safe going to Vancouver in 2010.
